The Arizona Charter Schools Association has implemented a group health plan that is now available to Charter Schools, Private Schools, Church Schools, and most businesses that have an educational focus or element.   Your group may be eligible to enroll in the group plan during the open enrollment periods available in August or January of each year.   Plans start with an employee-only premium for January 2007 as low as $202 per month.

Here are some highlights of the plan:

• Minimal underwriting . The plan does not require a medical exam or a lengthy medical questionnaire.

• The rates are already established. Your group can receive the established rates and the rates will not change based upon your demographics or claims history.

• There are three separate plans from which each employee of your group can choose. There is also a medical reimbursement plan available along with ancillary benefits such as dental, vision, critical illness and life insurance.

• There are no pre-existing condition clauses or exclusions for any of your employees who are currently enrolled in any health insurance plan.

• United Healthcare has a large directory of Doctors and Hospitals across the state.   United also has a reputation for excellent service and quick payment of claims.
